Conrad Anker is seen here promoting the backpack he helped design.
There are a lot of backpacks out there these days, but there is no backpack that is designed specifically for ice cragging. Much like climbing rock at the crag, climbing ice at the crag, and not just on a route all day, is becoming increasingly popular. A backpack is needed that will allow the climber to easily stow their ice screws and tools, separating them from other gear (like clothing and food).
